Mateus Mesquita Inacio has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mateus started their career at Pirelli Tyres as an Engineer in 1999. In 2000, they joined Crown Holdings, Inc. and served as a Plant Manager, responsible for the production of plastic closures. Mateus also managed the PET blow bottle business in the south of Brazil. In 2012, Mateus joined America Tampas, a company of the Petropar Group, as an Industrial Manager, overseeing the entire industrial area of the plastic closures business in Brazil. Later, they moved to Fitesa, also a company of the Petropar Group, where they held several roles, including Supply Chain Manager, Operations Manager, Operations Director USA, VP of Operations, and SVP Latin America. Currently, Mateus is the Chief Operating Officer at Fitesa.

Mateus Mesquita Inacio has a diverse education history. In 2000, they completed a degree in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Mateus then pursued further education, obtaining an MBA in Business Administration from the same university in 2004 and later another MBA in Business Economics from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they attended Fundação Dom Cabral, where they completed a Business Executive MBA program. In 2002, Mateus participated in a logistics program conducted by COPPEAD/UFRJ and Michigan State University. Mateus also completed a General Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2018, with a focus on International Business. Additionally, Mateus obtained various certifications, including a Six Sigma Green Belt in 2006 and a Six Sigma Black Belt in 2008 from Setec Consulting Group. Mateus also completed a Management Development Program in 2008 from Crown Holdings & LaSalle University and a short Executive Development Program at CENEX in 2007. In 2016, they attended Kellogg Executive Education for an operations strategy program.
