Sjoerd van Berkel

Sjoerd van Berkel is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in founding and managing technology-driven startups. Currently, Sjoerd serves as Co-Founder and Operator of Dutch Operator Fund, an initiative focused on supporting Dutch pre-seed and seed-stage startups. Sjoerd co-founded and manages FitForMe while also holding a non-executive shareholder position there. Previous roles include Co-Founder and Managing Director of Gikavi and Co-Founder of VOF IJSenZO. Sjoerd’s academic background includes a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship & New Business Venturing plus Finance & Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management and an Executive Education certificate from Harvard Business School. Additional qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Inholland University and a VWO diploma from HVC.
