Piero Linares

Piero Linares has held various roles in the finance and business development sectors since 2014. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder & CEO of Fitia (YC S21), an automated meal planner for weight loss in LatAm. Prior to this, they were a Business Development Senior Analyst, Business Development Analyst, Finance and Strategy Analyst, and Finance and Strategy Intern at BRECA from 2015 to 2019. Before that, they were a Risk and Markets Intern at Pacífico Seguros in 2014.

Piero Linares obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima between 2011 and 2016. In 2018, they obtained a Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). In 2012, they obtained a BMC certification from Bloomberg LP. In 2020, they completed Startup School with Y Combinator, and in 2021 they completed the Summer 2021 Batch with Y Combinator.
