Rita Ravindra

SVP, Operations & Corporate Development at FITLAB

Rita Ravindra has over 15 years of experience in business operations, finance, fundraising, business development and strategy. Rita started their career in 2006 as Vice President of Business Development and International Strategy & Operations at Myspace. At Myspace, they led negotiations and structured business partnerships which helped launch several content channels and generated $2M of monthly revenue. Rita also sourced and structured a multi-million-dollar affiliate relationship with Groupon prior to departing.

In 2012, they joined Wittlebee as Vice President of Operations, where they managed business development, finance, supply chain operations and customer service with a team of 35 full-time and part-time employees. Rita initiated and led efforts to transition in-house supply chain operations to a 3PL, which resulted in 20% cost savings. Rita also raised equity and debt financing.

In 2013, they joined RadPad as the first business hire and grew the team to over 25 employees. Rita managed a team that ran finance, customer acquisition, legal and HR, and executed all business development deals to launch rental payments, generating $40M of rental payments processed in the first year.

In 2016, they founded MiaMia Beauty, a data-driven, social commerce platform to fix the fragmented digital beauty UX for Millennials and Gen Zers. Rita grew the business organically, partnered with dozens of beauty brands, structured sales partnerships, optimized the app for speed and UX, worked with beauty influencers, and had great PR (dubbed the "Instagram for the Beauty-Obsessed" by Instyle). All of this was done with a lean team and while being self-financed.

In 2020, they joined Fitplan, Inc. as Chief Operating Officer. Rita led the acquisition process through exit within 14 months of joining, and Fitplan was acquired by FitLab, Inc. in April 2021.

Rita Ravindra is currently the SVP of Operations & Corporate Development at FitLab.

Rita Ravindra received their MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they studied Finance and Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, they obtained their B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
