PJ Nestler

Vice President of Performance at FITLAB

PJ Nestler has a wealth of experience in the fitness industry. In 2008, they began their career as an Athletic Performance Specialist at Parisi Speed School. In 2009, they were appointed Director of Strength & Conditioning for Olympic Sports at the University of Rhode Island. In 2011, they moved to Velocity Sports Performance as the Sports Performance Director. In 2015, they were hired as Regional Performance Director at ProSport Performance, where they created, directed, and managed the operations of two sports performance training facilities. In 2016, they founded Apeiron Group LLC/Coach PJ Nestler, launching an online platform for coach and trainer education. In 2017, they were hired as Director of Performance at XPT Life. Finally, in 2019, they joined FitLab as Vice President of Performance, where they work with iconic athletes and sport brands to build the future of fitness. In 2020, they were appointed as an Executive Board Member at Set Her Free.

PJ Nestler earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island between 2005 and 2009. PJ also holds a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) obtained in October 2009, a Certified Sports Performance Coach certification from USA Weightlifting obtained in October 2007, an Advanced Free Diver certification from PADI, an Advanced Scuba Diver certification from PADI, a Certified Conditioning Coach certification from Bio-Force, and a Functional Movement Screen certification from Functional Movement Systems.
