Lisa Sims, MS, ERYT, has extensive experience in the fitness industry, serving as a Group Fitness Instructor at the YMCA of Greater Houston since October 1998 and at FITNESS PROJECT since December 2018. With a background at the Sports Training Institute from July 1986 to October 1994 as a Personal Trainer, Assistant General Manager, and Program Director, Lisa developed a company internship program focusing on exercise physiology, kinesiology, and fitness program development. Lisa holds a B.S. and M.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan and a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell's T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, along with certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), Johnny G Spinning, and Les Mills BodyPump and BodyFlow.
