Matthew Herzog has a long and varied work experience. Matthew began their career in 1999 as an Enlisted Soldier in the United States Army Reserve, where they held the role of 63W MOS - All Wheel Mechanic. In 2000, they became a Crew Leader & Car Hop at Sonic Drive-In. In 2004, they took on the role of General Laborer at Manko Window Systems. From 2009 to 2016, they held various roles at the US Army, including Rear Detachment S4/S8 - HHC BDE, 2ABCT, 1ID, Supply Management Officer - HHC, 299 BSB, 2ABCT, Operations Officer - G9, 21 TSC, USAREUR, Assistant S3 Training Officer - HHC, 18 Military Police Brigade, Plans Officer - HHC, 18 MP BDE, Company Commander (Provisional) - HHC, 18 MP BDE, and Combined Logistics Captains Career Course (CLC3) - Multifunctional Logistician - Army Logistics Univ. In 2016, they were also a Partner (Driver) at Uber and a Plans Officer at the United States Army Reserve. In 2020, they became a Project Manager at Marton Technologies, Inc. and in 2022, they became a Project Manager at FITT SCIENTIFIC, LLC. Matthew also earned the title of Demonstrated Senoir Logistician (DSL) from SOLE - the International Society of Logistics while attending CLC3.

Matthew Herzog received their High School Diploma from Shawnee Heights High School in 2000. Matthew then attended Baker University and obtained a Bachelor's of Science with a Major in Sociology (emphasis on Criminal Justice) and a Minor in Fine Arts (Photography) in 2004. Following that, they attended The University of Kansas and obtained a Commissioning Source in Army ROTC, Military Science and Operations in 2004. Finally, they attended Trident University International and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Logistics in 2020.
