Marc Kirsten serves as the General Manager at Fitzroy Mining Operations since January 2024 and is also a Principal at Engaged Leadership Australia, starting July 2023, where responsibilities include providing leadership and strategic support to businesses focused on cultivating a positive organizational culture. Marc has extensive experience in safety and health leadership, having held multiple senior roles at Anglo American from 2018 to 2023, including Head of Safety and Health, Project Director - Studies, and General Manager for both the Aquila and Grosvenor Projects. Prior roles encompass Vice President & Board Member at The Mining Association of the United Kingdom and Vice President & Managing Director of ICL UK. Marc held operations management positions at Glencore Coal and Xstrata Coal, with education credentials including an MBA from Griffith University and business analytics training from prestigious institutions like Harvard and Cambridge. Due to a commitment to continuous professional development, Marc is also enrolled in the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, set to complete in May 2024.
