Austin Gideon

Austin Gideon is a Partner at Five Elms and sits on the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Five Elms, Austin was an investor at The Stephens Group, a mid-market private equity firm, and an investment banker with Harris Williams’ Technology M&A Group. At both, he was responsible for analyzing and executing mergers and acquisitions across a diverse range of businesses within the technology, healthcare and consumer sectors. Austin is an owner and Board Member at Silver Lake Bank and on the Young Advisory Board of the Children’s Place, an agency committed to serving the very youngest survivors of abuse, neglect, and other trauma.

Austin holds a B.S.C. in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University. In his free time, Austin can be found in the rough of the golf course, supporting local sports teams, or hiking on trails with his dog Maddie.
