Elizabeth Nunan has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Elizabeth started their career at Iona Medical Centre in 2002 as a Practice Nurse, where they assisted GP's and was involved in various tasks such as client assessment and education. Elizabeth then joined Blue Care in 2009 as a Care Coordinator, responsible for managing chronic disease programs and coordinating referrals to allied health professionals. In 2015, they joined RSL Care + RDNS as a Clinical Education and Learning Facilitator, specializing in diabetes education. Elizabeth later worked at Linkage Care as an RN Consultant and then at Aveo Group as a Health and Wellness Nurse Consultant. Currently, they are employed at Five Good Friends Pty Ltd as a Community Manager in Melbourne.

Elizabeth Nunan obtained a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes management in 2011 from Curtin University. Elizabeth completed their General Nursing degree from Princess Alexandra Hospital, specializing in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, from 1979 to 1982. In 2012, they pursued Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at TAFE Queensland South West, Toowoomba. Additionally, they participated in the Program for Nurse Immunisers at ACU National – McAuley Campus Brisbane in 2006.
