Tony Saven

Tony Saven is currently the Director of Engineering at Five Iron Golf, a position held since April 2025. Prior to this, Tony served as Lead Developer at Upwork from December 2023 to April 2025, where significant contributions included integrating OpenAI chat to enhance freelancer-client matching and streamline platform navigation. At Reddit, Inc., from April 2021 to October 2023, Tony oversaw the web app's first-time user experience, dramatically increasing daily logins and enhancing user engagement through optimized flows and OpenAI integration. Tony also worked as an Architect at Alpakas from March 2020 to April 2021, where a highly scalable mobile application was conceptualized and launched, and at Aurity from January 2018 to March 2020, focusing on developing an innovative site builder. Tony holds a Master's degree in Computer technologies in economics and management from the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute," earned between January 2005 and January 2012.
