David Adkins

David Adkins has extensive experience in law enforcement, serving as a Ranger at Five Rivers MetroParks since September 2017. Prior to this role, David held various positions within the New Lebanon Police Department from June 2003 to September 2017, ultimately serving as Captain, where responsibilities included overseeing daily operations and supervising criminal investigations. David's background includes significant assignments to multi-jurisdictional task forces, including property crime and drug/gun enforcement, as well as the U.S. Marshals Service Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Force. Earlier in the career, David worked as a Police Officer for the Trotwood Police Department from 1990 to 2002, with roles ranging from Patrol to Detective, and serving as a K9 Handler. David was also a member of the emergency response team and participated in county-wide organized crime initiatives.
