Shane Sheldon

Shane Sheldon has extensive experience in park management, conservation, and environmental stewardship, currently serving as Park Manager at Five Rivers MetroParks since June 2015, where responsibilities include personnel management and budget planning. Previous roles include Site Leader and Trail Technician at Five Rivers MetroParks, Supervisor Quality Inspector at Supplier Inspection Services, and various seasonal positions with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy focused on natural resource management. Earlier experience includes project leadership and coordination with the Student Conservation Association, outdoor education instruction at YMCA Camp Burgess, and trail work as an Americorps Crew Member in Alaska. Shane holds a B.S. and B.F.A. in Art Education and Sculpture from Miami University.
