Eric Newman

Eric Newman serves as an Information Security and Compliance Analyst at Five Star Bank since April 2022. Prior to this role, Eric held the position of Security Compliance Analyst at Rochester Regional Health from August 2016 to March 2022, where responsibilities included identifying and addressing information security risks and conducting vendor risk assessments. Eric's earlier experience includes working as an Attorney Editor for Thomson Reuters from October 2014 to August 2016, where legal interpretation and compliance content creation were key duties. Additionally, Eric worked as an Assistant Public Defender at the Monroe County Office of the Public Defender from September 2005 to March 2013, engaging in case law research and client counseling. Eric holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from the University at Buffalo.
