Samuel Guest

Site Director/Resident Coach at Five-Star Basketball

Samuel Guest has had a long and varied career in the fields of law enforcement, athletics, and basketball coaching. Samuel began their career in 1988 as a Police Officer for the New York City Police Department. Samuel then went on to become a Detective Investigator, Detective Investigator (FAIS), and a Detective Investigator OCCB Narcotics. In 2006, they joined USA Basketball as a License Coach, and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) as a Member. From 2007 to 2009, they were the Director of Basketball Operations for the New York Golden Eagles Basketball Program, and a Certified Instructor/Trainer for the SUNY Youth Sports Institute. During this time, they also served as the Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Onteora Senior High School. In 2009, they began working for the New York State Department of State, New York State Athletic Commission as a Deputy Commissioner. In 2012, they joined ProCamps Worldwide as a Coach, and in 2019, they became a Private Investigator for Guest Investigations.

Samuel Guest obtained an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from City University WA between 1987 and 1993. Samuel then joined the New York City Police Department from 1988 to 2010. In 1991 and 1992, they attended the US Army Military Police School Officer Basic. Samuel also attended US Army Military Police Officer Adavnce between 1996 and 1997. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Columbia Southern University.
