Katelyn Carroll

Katelyn Carroll is a Conversation UX Designer and Assoc. Automation Engineer I at Five9, with prior experience as a Linguistic Data Specialist at QuillBot, where responsibilities included annotating and validating datasets for NLP/ML training. Katelyn previously served as a Language Expert at Nuance Communications, contributing to automatic speech recognition by labeling and validating audio clips. A Graduate Student Assistant at Georgetown University, Katelyn designed newsletters and created programming materials for academic enrichment. Experience as a College Application Counselor included guiding students through the college application process, while time as a High School English Teacher involved curriculum development and student engagement. Katelyn also held multiple roles at the University of Michigan, such as Honors Resident Advisor and Primary Copy Editor for The Michigan Daily. Katelyn obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and Spanish from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Language and Communication from Georgetown University.
