Shawn Cecie

Shawn Cecie currently serves as a Global Solutions Architect at Five9, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Shawn was employed at Genesys from October 2014 to April 2023, initially as a Senior Telecommunications Engineer and later as a Network Systems Engineer, where responsibilities included implementing Enterprise and Multicloud telecom solutions and supporting global network infrastructure. Shawn's career began in the telecommunications sector at CenturyLink/Qwest Communications, serving in various capacities such as Network Operations Supervisor and Advanced Networking Screening Consultant from 2004 to February 2014. Early experience includes a role as Regional MIS Technician at Cinemark from 1998 to 2004, focusing on installations and support of network hardware. Shawn holds degrees in Information Technology and CCNA Security from Davis Technical College and Cisco Networking Academy, respectively.
