Bethany Lloyd is an accomplished high school student with a diverse background in leadership, advocacy, and education. Currently serving as an AP Statistics Cram Student Host at Fiveable and a BigFuture Ambassador for The College Board, Bethany excels in sharing valuable resources and support for peers. As a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Bethany engages in monthly meetings aimed at developing leadership skills and exploring college interests. Additionally, as a Children's Congress Delegate for JDRF International, Bethany actively advocates for policies related to Type 1 Diabetes, contributing to significant funding increases for the Special Diabetes Program. With experience as a Youth Ambassador for JDRF Southern Texas, Bethany has aided in raising over $20 million for diabetes research. Participation in programs like HOBY Youth Leadership and Girls Who Code has further enhanced Bethany's leadership and technical skills, complemented by coursework at Stanford University in programming. Currently attending Dickinson High School, Bethany is set to graduate in May 2025.
