Paul Alderden

Paul Alderden has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

- From 2023, they have been working as the Chief Financial Officer at Fivespark, where they are responsible for developing and implementing tactical policies, managing the team, achieving departmental goals, and contributing to the strategic development of the organization. Paul is also a member of the management team.

- Prior to that, they worked at BN International B.V. as the Manager Finance & Control from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the financial administration of the company, leading a team of 5 employees.

- From 2010 to 2015, they worked at Thales Nederland in multiple roles, including Business/Project Controller and Financial Accountant. Their responsibilities included project/portfolio control, risk management, ERP migration, and implementing business intelligence tools.

- Paul also worked at PPG Industries as a Controller from 2007 to 2010 and at Finace as an Assistant Controller from 2003 to 2007.

- Paul had brief stints at Achmea and Essent Kabelcom through their employment at Finace, where they held financial accounting and project management roles.

Paul Alderden began their education in 1999 at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics. Paul completed this program in 2004. In the same year, they also enrolled at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in the Finance Academy. Paul completed this program in 2004 as well.

In 2005, Paul attended Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences again, this time for a Post-Graduate degree in Controller, which they completed in 2006. Afterwards, they took a break from formal education until 2014 when they attended Nimo and obtained a Modular certificate in IPMA Level C (2014.0229) - Theory in Project Management.
