Roman Vlasenko

Roman Vlasenko is a seasoned Software Engineer with extensive experience in enhancing developer productivity and managing large-scale migration projects. Currently at Fivetran since November 2022, Roman has successfully migrated a monolithic repository to Java 17 and Bazel 6, improving CI workflow and test reporting processes. Prior to this, Roman served as a Development Lead at EVBox, focusing on GCP services for electric vehicle charging and implementing best practices in infrastructure. Roman's background includes roles at Avantida Poland, Luxoft, WorldTicket A/S, EPAM Systems, ExpresSplata, and Nikoteh, with expertise in Java, various CI/CD tools, and cloud ecosystems like GCP and AWS. Roman holds a specialist degree in Materials Science from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'.
