Kristel Kanters-Hessels

Kristel Kanters-Hessels is an experienced psychologist and systemic therapist at Fivoor, specializing in forensic psychiatry and working with both adolescents and adults in a systemic context since June 2010. Prior to this role, Kristel was a research investigator at the Raad voor de Kinderbescherming in Breda from August 2007 to June 2010, focusing on conducting investigations, gathering information, analysis, reporting, and advising the court. Additionally, Kristel served as a pedagogical worker at Tender Jeugdzorg from June 2006 to July 2007, providing residential treatment for youth with severe developmental and behavioral disorders. Kristel's education includes a Master's degree in Psychology from Tilburg University and certifications in systemic therapy and child protection, with ongoing studies to become a GZ-psychologist at RINO Groep.
