Wolfram Horstmann currently serves as the Director and CEO of FIZ Karlsruhe - Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure since January 2024 and is a Professor in Information Science and Library Science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since May 2017. Previously, Wolfram Horstmann held the position of University Librarian at Göttingen State and University Library from May 2014 to December 2023 and was the Associate Director for Digital Library Programmes & IT at The Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford from January 2012 to May 2014. Other notable roles include Chief Information Officer for Scholarly Information at University of Bielefeld and Scientific-Technical Manager for the DRIVER Project. Wolfram Horstmann began a career in academia as a researcher at the University of Bielefeld from 1998 to 2004, following completion of studies at Bielefeld University between 1993 and 1998.
