Mads Bayer

Mads Bayer is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Økonomidirektør/CFO at Fjernvarme Fyn A/S since May 2024 and as owner of Bayer Finans & Invest since August 2012, Mads has expertise in managing price volatility within Nordic power derivatives. Previous positions include Chairman of the Board for multiple companies such as Sulfinizer, Zediment, and Dryp, as well as serving as CFO/Finansdirektør at Aarhus Vand, Denmark's second-largest water company. Mads has also held leadership roles in Aarhus Vand TA A/S and Energi Danmark A/S. Academically, Mads holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Aarhus University and has participated in executive education at IMD.
