Jiaquan Huang is an experienced test management professional with a comprehensive background in software testing and quality assurance. Currently serving as a Test Manager at Fjord Line AS since April 2022, Jiaquan previously worked as a Software Test Engineer at Sparebanken Vest from 2017 to April 2022 and as a System Specialist at Telenor between February 2014 and April 2017. An early role as a Teknisk Tester at Sparebanken Vest involved manual and automated testing of software applications. Jiaquan began a career in testing at Nera Networks AS from August 2008 to October 2012, where responsibilities included test coordination, developing automatic tests, and ensuring quality compliance in embedded systems. A foundational role as a Student at Ericsson in 2008 preceded the attainment of a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Agder and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology.

Fjord Line was founded in 1993. With a 20% market share we are Norway's second largest shipping company in international passengers' traffic and freight transportation between Norway, Sweden and Denmark. We are a young ferry company that has grown a lot in recent years through adding new, modern ships to our fleet, expanding our route network and providing our guests and freight customers with exceptional service and value for money. Fjord Line is based on sound business values. Everything we do is with vigour, responsibility, respect and commitment. The company has about 700 FTEs and transports over 1.3 million passengers annually. Our four ships operate five routes between Norway, Sweden and Denmark. In addition to passenger traffic, we also transport commercial vehicles and goods. Brian Thorsted Hansen has headed up the company since January 2021, when he took over as CEO.
