Howard Watt is a seasoned venture capital lawyer and partner at Fladgate LLP since May 2021, specializing in corporate law within the Corporate Group. Previously, Howard served as the Head of Venture and Private Capital at Sheridans from July 2018 to May 2021, focusing on venture capital, private equity, and private M&A. Prior to that, Howard held the title of Partner at JAG Shaw Baker and worked as Associate Director at Eight Roads, where responsibilities included advising on corporate transactional matters. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Corporate Counsel at Fidelity Worldwide Investment and as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Olswang. Howard has a law degree (LLB) from Durham University and completed education at the Royal Grammar School Newcastle Upon Tyne.
