Matthew Mounkes

Matthew Mounkes is a seasoned professional in media and communication with extensive experience in community engagement and broadcasting. Currently serving as a Community Engagement Specialist for the Flagler County School District since December 2019, Matthew previously held the role of Coordinating Media Operator at ESPN from July 2010 to December 2019, where responsibilities included operating and training in EVS and DreamCatcher systems and developing standard operating procedures for remote integration. Prior freelance work encompassed producing, directing, and camera operation for various clients, including Time Warner and Paradigm Broadcast, while a consulting position at Davidson College involved the production and technical direction of live webcasts. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director and Technical Director at WCNC-TV in a top 25 market. Matthew holds a B.S. in Communication from Appalachian State University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
