Tiffany Shi

Tiffany Shi has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and data analysis. Tiffany began their career as a Data Science Intern at Caltech, where they implemented a machine learning algorithm for galaxy image classification. Tiffany then interned at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they developed tools for statistical analysis and performed independent analysis on camera models.

Tiffany later worked as a Data Engineer at Data for Progress, where they automated the data visualization process and streamlined data analysis using SQL and Python. Tiffany also gained teaching experience as a Senior Computer Science Instructor at Juni Learning, teaching programming lessons to students of various ages.

Tiffany has interned twice at Microsoft, first as a Software Engineering Intern and then as a Software Engineer Intern. In these roles, they designed and implemented machine learning models, facilitated the transition to Spark architecture, and worked on scalable data pipelines.

In their most recent role as a Software Engineer at Cellular Longevity, Inc., Tiffany worked on setting up and scaling data pipelines, as well as ingesting and transforming genomic methylation data. Tiffany utilized technologies such as Dagster, Helm, Python, AWS, and Django.

Currently, Tiffany is working as a Software Engineer at Flagship, where they continue to develop their skills in software engineering.

Tiffany Shi attended San Marino High School from 2014 to 2018. Tiffany then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, starting in 2018 and completing their studies in 2022.
