Geoffrey Metcalf, PMP

Geoffrey Metcalf, PMP has over 30 years of experience in the medical device and diagnostic industry. Geoffrey began their career in 1991 as a Marketing Associate and Sales Representative for Eli Lilly and Company. In 1997, they joined DadeBehring as a Vice President of Marketing, Director of Product Development, and M&A Director. In 2004, they moved to Siemens Diagnostics as the Senior Director of Strategic Planning. From 2008 to 2013, they were the General Manager and Head of Program Management at Clearbridge Biophotonics, where they were responsible for product conceptualization and development, investor relations, strategic planning, business development and R&D. In 2018, they became the CEO of Lumedica Vision, a medical device start-up utilizing technology from Duke University to create novel ophthalmic diagnostic instruments. Geoffrey's responsibilities included product conceptualization, business planning, investor relations, strategic planning and business development. In 2017, they founded and became President of Lift-Off Design Studio. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Flagship Biosciences, Inc. as the Vice President of Clinical Diagnostics.

Geoffrey Metcalf, PMP obtained their MBA from Harvard Business School, majoring in Marketing and Technology Management. Geoffrey also holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech. In August 2019, they were certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute.
