Harry Wilcox

Harry Wilcox is a Special Partner at Flagship Pioneering. Harry has over 30 years of experience in finance and corporate development.

Wilcox started their career as an Internal Auditor and Corporate Planning Analyst at Ocean Spray Cranberries. Harry then became a Senior Financial Analyst at Eastern Gas and Fuel. In 1983, they joined Charles River Ventures as their CFO and Special LP. Harry held this position for three years before moving to Highland Capital Partners as their CFO and General Partner.

In 1990, Wilcox joined CellCor, Inc. as their SVP Business Development and CFO. Harry was with the company for five years before joining Cambridge NeuroScience, Inc. as their President and CEO. While at Cambridge NeuroScience, Wilcox developed small molecules and proteins to treat injuries and disorders of the nervous system.

In 2000, Wilcox left Cambridge NeuroScience to join Pyrosequencing AB as their Executive Vice President-Head of Finance and Corporate Development. Harry was with Pyrosequencing for three years before joining Beacon BioSciences Partners as their Managing Partner.

In 2004, Wilcox left Beacon BioSciences to join Exact Sciences as their SVP Corporate Development. Harry held this position for two years before joining Flagship Pioneering as a Special Partner.

Harry Wilcox has a Master's in Business Administration from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Arizona.

They work with Laura Kline - VP, Corporate Communications and Social Impact, Tom Dilenge - Senior Partner, Global Public Policy, Regulatory & Governmental Strategy, and Michelle Werner - CEO Partner & CEO of Alltrna. Their manager is Noubar Afeyan, Founder & CEO.
