Lauren Bahr

Lauren Bahr, CPA, currently serves as the Associate Director of Accounting for External Reporting at Flagstar Bank since May 2019. Prior to this role, Lauren gained extensive experience at BDO USA, LLP, progressing from Core Tax Services Intern to Tax Associate and then Senior Tax Associate from January 2012 to May 2019, focusing on federal and state income tax compliance and financial statement reviews. Earlier experience includes serving as Front Desk Coordinator at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art from September 2008 to June 2010, where efficient customer service and collaboration were key responsibilities. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business.
