Lyndsy Gumz

Lyndsy Gumz has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Lyndsy most recently held the position of Human Resources Director at Flagstone Foods, starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Manager at the same company from October 2019 to December 2020. Before joining Flagstone Foods, Lyndsy served as a Human Resources Manager at Shaw/Stewart Lumber Co from June 2016 to October 2019. In this role, they were responsible for leading and managing the overall HR function, including employee programs, policies, succession planning, work comp, labor relations, talent management, and employee performance management. From 2012 to 2016, Lyndsy worked at ERM: Environmental Resources Management in various HR roles, including Human Resources Generalist, Professional Development Lead, and Human Resources Recruiting Specialist. Their earlier experience includes serving as a Talent Acquisition Director at Mid American Financial Group and as an Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner at New England Financial, a MetLife Company.

Lyndsy Gumz holds a BA in Journalism/Mass Communication from Iowa State University, which they obtained between 1999 and 2003. Lyndsy also has an MBA in Masters of Business Administration from Hamline University, which they acquired from 2009 to 2011. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Human Resources Compliance from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in May 2019, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in December 2015, and Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) from HR Certification Institute in November 2018.
