Chao Zhang

Chao Zhang has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. From March 2010 to July 2010, Chao worked as an Analyst Programmer Trainee at OCS Consulting, where they designed and developed a dynamic file management system and configured a content management package for underwriting clients.

From August 2010 to August 2011, Chao worked as a Campaign Developer at e-Dialog.

Chao then joined Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe in September 2011 as a Senior Web Developer. During their time there, they designed, developed, and maintained intranet and extranet web applications for PlayStation globally. They also integrated web applications with third-party software in various industries. Chao left Sony in December 2016.

Since December 2016, Chao has been working at Flagstone. They initially joined as a Senior Software Developer and later became the Chief Architect. In their current role, Chao is responsible for designing and developing Flagstone's secure online cash deposit platform, which provides access to over 450 deposit accounts and helps companies earn more interest income while diversifying and reducing risk. Chao is also involved in regulatory compliance and is authorized and regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).

Chao Zhang completed a BSc (Hons) in Computing with an Upper 2nd Class (2:1) degree at Bournemouth University from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, Zhang earned a National Diploma in IT Practitioners (ICT system support) - Level 3 from Bournemouth and Poole College, focusing on Information Technology. Zhang has also obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (twice) and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals from Microsoft, The Open Group Certified: TOGAF® 9 Certified from The Open Group, and ITIL v3 Foundations from BCS.
