James Clarke began their career in 2005 as a Software Development Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent. In this role, they were responsible for on-going day-to-day support, patching, backups, etc. for a portfolio of software installations. In 2012, they moved to Hewlett Packard, where they worked as a Project/Program Manager for several projects and areas of IT service offerings. In 2021, they joined Flair Systems as a Technical Support Team Manager.

James Clarke attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 2000 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
