Maricruz Freytes

Maricruz Freytes, PhD, currently serves as the Managing Director of Talent & Operations at the Flamboyan Foundation, a role held since March 2020, where a commitment to educational equity drives initiatives aimed at supporting underrepresented students. Prior to this position, Maricruz Freytes was the General Manager at VCR Consulting Group, where responsibilities included career advising and organizational consulting from May 2018 to March 2020. Maricruz Freytes founded and led Maricruz Freytes Consulting Group from May 2017 to May 2018, focusing on talent and career management solutions throughout Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, following a significant tenure as Senior Vice President at Right Management from 2002 to 2016. Academically, Maricruz Freytes holds a PhD in Industrial & Organizational Psychology as well as a Master's degree in the same field from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, supplemented by coaching and assessment certifications.
