Alvaro Garcia-Hoz has over two decades of work experience in a variety of roles. From 1996 to 2000, they were an Account Manager at BANESTO. From 2000 to 2006, they were the General Manager at ViajarBajoPrecio.com, where they were responsible for strategy and business plan development, capital increase with private investors, and recruiting and supervising a 12-person team. From 2006 to 2007, they were the Director of Expansion and Development at The Haciendas Company. From 2007 to 2009, they were the Manager of Tourism, Leisure and Culture at Deloitte. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Consultor at Consultor Ocio Turismo e Internet. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Partner at myBestChallenge.com, where they were responsible for product and business development, technical team management, and financial and investor relations. Finally, from 2013 to 2022, they were the Director of Business Development at Mobile 72, where they delivered projects in Retail, Healthcare, Tourism and Leisure, University Campus, and Corporate spaces.

Alvaro Garcia-Hoz received their Licenciado en Filosofía from the University of Navarra between 1990 and 1995. Alvaro then pursued a MBA from IESE Business School between 1998 and 2000. During their MBA, they were an Exchange Student at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 1999.
