Ann Van Gysel

Ann Van Gysel is the CEO of Flanders.healthTech and has over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare and biotech industry. Ann has a background in science communications and has lectured at the University of Antwerp. Ann is also a board member of the Institute of Tropical Medicine. In 2017, they founded XpandInnovation, a company that assists biotechnology, biopharma, and medical devices companies expanding or setting up business in Europe.

Ann Van Gysel would have the following educational career: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Genetics from Ghent University, Master's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Ghent University, and BS in Biology from University of Antwerp.
