Johannes Cottyn

Johannes Cottyn's work experience begins in 2004 when they worked as a Teaching Assistant in Automation at the University College of West Flanders. Johannes then became a Research Assistant in Automation at the same institution from October 2006 to January 2013. In 2013, Cottyn joined XiaK - center of eXcellence in industrial automation Kortrijk as an Automation Coordinator.

Around the same time, in February 2013, Cottyn also started working at Ghent University as an Associate Professor in Industrial Automation. Johannes later served as the Vice-Head of the Department "Industrial Systems Engineering and Product Design" from September 2022 onwards.
