Xiao MA is a research engineer at Flanders Make since May 2022, focusing on mechanical engineering and digital twin technologies through collaborations with KULeuven, UGent, and VUB, while also managing projects. Prior experience includes a teaching assistant role in the Finite Element Method course at IMT Nord Europe in late 2023 and researcher positions at KU Leuven and IMT Nord Europe from January 2019 to January 2022, specializing in computational mechanics and fracture mechanics, resulting in three peer-reviewed publications. Xiao MA also completed mechanical engineer internships at CentraleSupélec and Michelin in 2018, focusing on the behavior of drawn steel wire, and served as a mechanical engineer assistant at Eclatec in 2016, aiding product development and quality control. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Materials & Mechanics Engineering from IMT Nord Europe, two master’s degrees from Université de Technologie de Troyes, and participation in an Erasmus+ exchange program at the University of Liège.
