Uma Veerappan

Uma Veerappan is a Senior Associate at Flare Capital Partners, a position held since July 2022, where responsibilities include supporting investments in various healthcare companies, such as Pear Suite and Vivo. Additionally, Uma serves as Program Lead for the Flare Capital Scholars Program, contributing to the professional development of emerging talent in the industry. Previous experience includes roles as Flare Capital Scholar, MBA Associate at BBG Ventures, and various internships focused on strategy and venture capital. Uma's educational background features a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Educational Studies from Emory University. Prior to these roles, Uma served as a Senior Strategy Consultant at EY and was a Fulbright Grantee in South Korea.
