Daniel Cohen

Managing Director & Co-Founder at Flare HR

Daniel Cohen is the managing director and co-founder of Flare HR, a human resources software company. Cohen has over fifteen years of experience in the technology industry, having founded Park Assist, one of Australia's largest Internet of Things businesses. Park Assist developed sensor networks for the transportation sector, and grew at more than 50% per year under Cohen's leadership. In 2013, Cohen sold Park Assist to the TKH Group, a Dutch multinational listed on the Amsterdam Stock exchange.

After the sale of Park Assist, Cohen returned to Australia to lead the integration of Park Assist into the TKH Group and run its local operations. In 2015, Cohen left the TKH Group to start Flare HR with their co-founder.

Prior to founding Park Assist, Cohen worked as an analyst in investment banking at Goldman Sachs.

Daniel Cohen has a degree in Bcom / LLB from UNSW.
