Ilja Velickis, CFA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in venture capital and investment management. Currently serving as Associate Partner at Flashpoint Venture Capital since November 2018, Ilja leads the Venture Debt Fund's investment processes and contributes to operational setups. Previous notable roles include Investment Director, Associate, and Analyst positions, as well as Board Observer for multiple companies such as Dispelix Oy and Welcome Pickups. Ilja's background includes significant experience at Deutsche Bank, working on Strategic Vendor Partnerships and supporting important blockchain initiatives, as well as earlier roles at KPMG Latvia and DNB. Ilja holds a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School.
