Dean Economou

Dean Economou is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the defense and intelligence sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director for DOD and Intel Programs at Appgate since July 2020, Dean specializes in Zero Trust Network Access efficiency. Concurrently, Dean holds the position of Senior Director Public Sector Lead at Flashpoint, focusing on engagement with threat actors across various ecosystems. Previously, Dean has led efforts at CenturyLink as Federal Sales Director, managing multiple sales teams within the DOD and NATO sectors. Additional leadership roles include Director DOD and Intel Programs at Cyxtera Technologies, Director of DOD and Intel Sales at Mobile Armor, and Client Executive for the Department of Defense at Sprint. Serving as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve from 1992 to 2002, Dean's military intelligence background is complemented by an MBA in Information Technology from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
