Dean Turner

Dean Turner has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Dean is currently working as the Vice President of Product Management - CTI at Flashpoint since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Product Management at Magnet Forensics from September 2022 to May 2023. Dean also worked at Cisco as the Director of Product Management from January 2016 to September 2022. Before that, they held the position of Director - Security Intelligence at PayPal from July 2013 to April 2015. Dean has also worked at Symantec as the Director - Global Intelligence Network - Symantec Intelligence Services from September 2002 to June 2013. Dean started their career at SecurityFocus as the Director of Operations from March 1999 to August 2002 and later worked as the Competitive Analysis Manager at Network Associates from September 1998 to August 2000.

Dean Turner received their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary, where they studied Political Science, Strategic Studies, and International Relations from 1987 to 1994. Dean then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Security Studies and International Relations at the University of Hull from 1996 to 1998. Currently, Dean is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Birmingham, focusing on Information Warfare and Information Dominance.
