Dave Helm

Dave Helm has over 15 years of work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Dave started their career as an Operations terminal Manager at Brandt Truck Line, where they managed all operations and staff. Dave then moved on to Yellow Transportation, where they worked as a Field Sales representative, responsible for sales, marketing development, contract negotiations, and client development. During their time at Yellow Transportation, Dave received several awards for their performance and also served as a mentor for new account executive development. Dave then joined FedEx Freight as a Field Sales representative, focusing on revenue growth and territory development. At FedEx, Dave achieved revenue growth and exceeded goals for both domestic and international freight services. Dave later transitioned to FedEx, where they held the position of Worldwide Account Manager in the LTL division. In this role, Dave was responsible for managing accounts with annual transportation budgets greater than $1 million, and they successfully negotiated contracts for over $25 million in revenue. Currently, Dave holds the position of Director of Business Development at Flat World Supply Chain, LLC.

Dave Helm obtained their high school degree from Argenta Oreana High School between 1987 and 1991. Dave then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Illinois State University from 1991 to 1995.
