Colleen Nugent has extensive experience in both the service industry and research. Since December 2011, Colleen has been working as a server at Flatbread Co. A brief tenure as a Qualitative Data Analyst at Art of the March involved the creation of metadata for images of protest signs from the Boston Women's March in 2017, focusing on content analysis. An internship with Congressman Paul D. Tonko included constituent communication and legislative research, notably contributing to the proposal of the “Women’s Affordable Hygiene Act.” Colleen has also served as a tutor in the Academic Opportunity Program, enhancing undergraduate writing skills. Volunteer work in Holocaust history included visits to concentration camps in Poland and restoration of Jewish cemeteries in Lithuania. Colleen holds a Master of Arts in World History from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Union College.
