Benjamin Kies

Benjamin Kies is a Senior Software Engineer at Flatiron Health since January 2017. Previously, Benjamin worked as a Software Engineer at Simple Fractal from February 2016 to October 2016, focusing on full-stack engineering and project management. Prior to that, Benjamin held software engineering roles at Grouper from July 2013 to November 2015 and at Beonten, Inc. from September 2011 to July 2013, where responsibilities included acting as a software architect and engaging in various startup functions, from client interaction to strategic decision-making. Benjamin began a career in software development as an intern at St James Software in September 2010, contributing to a speech visualizer prototype. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Chinese Language from Harvard University, earned between 2006 and 2010.
