Daniel Protz is the CEO & Founder of FlavorWiki. Daniel has over a decade of experience in eCommerce and technology. In their previous role as Senior Director of Operations and Inventory Management at Groupon, they were responsible for the design, build, and implementation of technology to support inventory, item master, product catalogue, and pricing automation for the company's >1 Billion eCommerce business. Daniel also built out a team and technology to support pricing and demand analytics based on multiple market and sales inputs. In addition, they worked with finance to define and implement margin strategy by optimizing owned inventory, consignment, and drop ship fulfillment. Daniel was also responsible for front end improvements to the platform including cart functionality, ratings & reviews, address validation, and booking scheduling. Prior to Groupon, Protz served as Principal at bluO International Affiliates Ltd. from August 2008 to December 2009. Daniel began their career as an Investment Associate at Deutsche Bank from July 2007 to July 2008 and then at Starwood Capital Group from May 2006 to August 2006. Daniel later became European Representative at Allegro Securities LLC from December 2011 to September 2013.

Daniel Protz earned their MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and their BA in Government and International Relations from Dartmouth College.
