Ryan Black

Ryan Black has a diverse range of work experience in the entertainment industry. Ryan is currently the Managing Director for Flawless since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Lionsgate for many years, starting as the Acquisitions & Administration Manager and Executive Assistant at Grindstone Entertainment Group in 2007. Ryan then progressed to become the Executive Director of Acquisitions & Development and eventually the VP of Acquisitions & Development for the same company. During their time at Grindstone, Ryan was responsible for building a film library of over 600 films, acquiring completed and pre-bought films, and serving as a Co-Executive Producer or Co-Producer on co-productions. Ryan also submitted offers, negotiated deal terms, and watched film submissions for potential acquisitions. Before joining Lionsgate, Ryan worked as an Assistant to the Producers/Presidents at Silver Nitrate Entertainment, providing administrative and assistant support, reading and providing coverage for script submissions, and creating delivery binders for film acquisitions. Ryan also had a brief stint as a Production Assistant at Deviant Films, where they provided on-set support for various departments and covered scripts for the producers.
