Sean Danischevsky has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of visual effects. Starting in 1997, they worked as an Effects Designer for various companies, including Henson's Creature Shop, Magic Camera, and Molinare. Sean also produced effects for commercials during this time. In 1999, Sean joined the BBC as a Digital Effects Designer, where they collaborated with a team of graphic designers on sequences and program titles for TV shows. Moving on, they worked at The Mill as a Compositor, contributing to projects like "K-19," "Chocolat," and "Tomb Raider." At Double Negative, Sean served as a Senior/Lead Compositor, supervising and compositing sequences for multiple films while teaching compositing techniques and creating tools for the facility. Sean then joined Framestore as the Deputy Head of 2D, where they led compositing teams and supervised on-set for feature films such as "Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang" and "Narnia: Prince Caspian." At Method Studios, Sean built and managed the 2D department, overseeing "Wrath of the Titans," "Cloud Atlas," and "Hunger Games: Catching Fire." Sean later became a Lecturer at Escape Studios, teaching compositing and VFX supervision. Prior to their current role, Sean worked at Radiant Studios as a Visual Effects Supervisor and at Automatik VFX as a 2D/VFX Supervisor, where they focused on incorporating Artificial Intelligence tools into their pipeline and worked on notable projects like "Outside The Wire" and "Ironbark." Currently, Sean is the Head of Visual Effects at Flawless.
Sean Danischevsky began their education at Bournemouth University from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a BA(hons) in Media Production. In 2005, they attended Royal Holloway, University of London, to complete their MA in Feature Film Screenwriting, which lasted until 2006. In 2019, Sean enrolled in the Computer Vision Nanodegree program at Udacity. Additionally, in the same year, they pursued further education in Machine Learning through Coursera.
