Aimee Kowalczyk

Aimee Kowalczyk currently serves as an Early Learning Coalition Specialist for The Florida Department of Education, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Aimee was employed by Leon County Public Schools as a Special Education Compliance Program Specialist from September 2021 to August 2023. Aimee's extensive experience with the Florida Department of Education includes serving as a Parent Services Program Specialist and a Safe Schools Program Specialist IV, where duties involved monitoring compliance with the federally funded Title IV Safe and Drug Free Schools program for 72 local education agencies. Earlier in Aimee's career, Aimee worked as a Youth Advocacy Coordinator at the Florida Department of Health, where responsibilities included coordinating the statewide youth tobacco prevention program. Aimee holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from The University of Southern Mississippi.
